A surreal sandal movie based on the late antique novels. Antiquity mixes with the present, Czech with German. Thaïs is kidnapped by pirates during her wedding to Menander. The groom is transformed into a bloodthirsty monster in an attempt to rescue her, his horse grows wings, a witch promises him to another woman, King Xerxes strips him of his manhood, yet everything ends happily in the end.
