Her manipulative and well-to-do ex-husband Adam, from whom Klara has left, wants to sue her for her young son Danik. The older daughter Zorka is in her teens. Under economic pressure, Klára decides to go for a direct adoption. Four couples gradually enter her life - the eccentric influencer Beata with the businessman Hubert, the not very harmonious couple Alice and Michal, the registered partners Petr and Vladimír and the slightly older couple Kryštof and Hanka, who have had many IVF cycles. The unconventional social worker Stork, whose character covers the topic of foster family care in its many forms, also plays a significant role. Who will eventually become the parent of the unborn child?
